I already decided to close mine in September and I'm going to move my Rainy Day Saver savings into my new Trading 212 cash ISA. I'll probably also do a bank switch on my Barclays current account now too.

What would you say about nutmeg? Is it good for a Stocks and Shares ISA? I have opened one as it is linked with the chase app which I love. I am hearing more about trading 212 and Vanguard.

Frankly I can't see any real benefit in this Avios incentive. Many other better and cost free ways to gain Avios. Come on, 1 Avios for every £10 is the worst "reward" rate anywhere.

I paid an Annual fee in full for the Premium option because it was great for travelling, 90 days insurance and Lounges if flight is delayed for more than an hour, I'm annoyed with Revolut that they've now removed these benefits mid plan, and the new options are no longer any benefits. Was a fan, no longer 😢

Just cancelled SKY after 14 years...I was just a cash cow ... creeping substantial rises NO loyalty bonus worth having. Worked out I hardly watched any pure SKY channels. Warning..they make it difficult for you to cancel . Gone to Freeview now will NEVER enter into any TV contract ever. Too much free choice via You Tube , Freeview etc ...info here about streaming and on demand good.

It's one of the few banks still offering to stamp bank statements and they've got machines to do that in branch too! Sadly the benefits (or rather costs) are too poor now.

I could understand Apple TV for some but personally it would of been more tempting if it was like NowTV/Netflix/Prime as an example since Lloyds has Disney but WHO do you know is gonna at look at this and say “Oh yeah, Barclays is doing MLS, I'm signing up!” like who out there is watching MLS 😂😂💀

Good riddance, Barclays! I got rid of my Blue Rewards a while ago. Back in 2022, it was definitely worth having. I used to have a Barclays mortgage with about 4 grand left on it fixed at 1.58% but I would earn more in blue rewards cashback (£12 / month) than I did in mortgage interest so Barclays were effectively paying me to have a mortgage with them!

From Sep, the £5 fee a month is for non Premiere customers. Premier customers will get it for free.

Barclays is probably the worst high street bank in the UK. They have hands down, the worst banking app that is filled with ads for their insurance scheme and other services, has no/very occasional bank switching offers, provides very low intrests, has no high interest paying regular saver like Lloyds or Halifax, no cashback offers like chase, invests money into promoting fossil fuels and wars, and now, doesn't even have a proper rewards account. It's a bank that just takes, takes, and takes, while giving back nothing.

Had my Barclays current account since I was 18 now nearly 50. And a blue rewards for a couple of years but time to change. Going for the Lloyds club account for the £175 reward.
